The Influence of Stamping Die Structure on Safety

发布时间:2018-09-05 浏览次数:1118次

Stamping die is the main process equipment for stamping, and stamping parts are completed by the relative movement of upper and lower dies. Due to the continuous separation between the upper mold and the lower mold during processing, if the operator's fingers continue to enter or stay in the mold closed area, it will pose a serious threat to their personal safety.
( a ) the main parts, functions and safety requirements of the mold
1. The convex-concave die of the working part is the working part that directly shapes the blank. Therefore, it is the key part on the die. The male and female dies are not only precise but also complex, and they should meet the following requirements: ( 1 ) they should have enough strength not to break or damage during stamping; ( 2 ) they should have appropriate requirements for their materials and heat treatment to prevent their hardness from being too high and brittle.
2. Positioning parts positioning parts are parts for determining the installation position of blanks, including positioning pins ( plates ), stop pins ( plates ), guide pins, guide plates, side cutters with fixed distance, side pressers, etc. The design of positioning parts should consider easy operation, no over positioning, and easy observation of position. It is best to adopt forward positioning, contour positioning and guide pin positioning, etc.
3. Pressing, discharging and discharging parts. Pressing parts include edge rings, pressing plates, etc.
The blank pressing ring can press the blank to the edge force so as to prevent the blank from arching and forming wrinkles under the action of tangential pressure. The function of the pressing plate is to prevent the blank from moving and bouncing. Ejectors and discharge plates are used to facilitate ejection of parts and cleaning of wastes. They are supported by springs, rubber and air cushion push rods on the equipment and can move up and down. Ejectors should be designed with sufficient ejection force and limited movement. Discharging plate should minimize the closed area or mill empty-handed slots in the operating position. The exposed discharge plate shall be provided with a protective plate around it to prevent fingers from penetrating or foreign objects from entering, and the edges and corners of the exposed surface shall be blunt.
4. Guide post and guide sleeve are the most widely used guide parts. Its function is to ensure that the male and female dies have an accurate fit clearance during stamping. Therefore, the gap between the guide post and guide sleeve should be smaller than the blanking gap. The guide post is set on the lower die holder, and the upper end face of the guide post must be at least 5 to 10mm above the top face of the upper die plate when the stroke is at the bottom dead center. The guide post should be arranged far away from the module and the pressing plate so that the operator's arm does not have to cross the guide post to take the material.
5. Supporting and clamping parts include upper and lower templates, mold handles, male and female mold fixing plates, backing plates, limiters, etc. The upper and lower templates are the basic parts of the die, and other various parts are respectively installed and fixed on them. The plane size of the template, especially the front and rear directions, should be adapted to the parts, and too large or too small is not conducive to operation.
Some molds ( blanking and punching molds ) need to have a backing plate under the mold frame in order to facilitate the production of parts. At this time, it is better to connect the backing plate with the formwork by screws, and the thickness of the two backing plates should be absolutely equal. The spacing of the backing plates shall be subject to the output of the pieces, not too large, so as to prevent the template from breaking.
